Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has thrown his support behind Karim Benzema for the 2021 Ballon d'Or. Benzema, who currently plays for Real Madrid, is considered one of the favorites to win the prestigious award after a remarkable season that saw him score 44 goals in 44 appearances for club and country.
Zidane, who coached Benzema at Real Madrid from 2016 to 2021, was full of praise for his former player. "Karim is a phenomenal player," Zidane said.
